Okinawa, an Indian electric scooter manufacturer has recently launched PraisePro, the third electric scooter in its Praise portfolio. Regarded as the affordable version of the i-Praise, the brand has priced the PraisePro at an ex-showroom tag of INR 71,990. The e-scooter from Okinawa can further be operated in three modes namely: Sports, Economy, and Turbo.
Powering the PraisePro is a 2kWh removable lithium-ion battery that is mated to a 1kW Brushless DC electric motor (BLDC) while the e-scooter is capable of churning out a maximum power of 2.5kW. The top speed of the Okinawa PraisePro scales at 30-35kph in the economy mode, 50-60kph in the sports mode and 65-70kph in the turbo mode.
The company claimed range of the electric scooter stands at 88km in sports mode while the economy mode promises a range of 110km. The brand offers a conventional charger with the scooter that can be operated with the normal 15A home socket. The battery of the scooter is expected to fully charge in just 2-3 hours while the customers can charge the scooter directly via the charger or separately by removing the battery.
The PraisePro scooter features telescopic forks at the front while the rear has been equipped with dual shock absorbers. The e-scooter features disc brakes at either end in addition to getting 90/90-12 tubeless tyres on either side. The brand has equipped the scooter with LED headlight and tail light in addition to offering a standard USB charging point.
The Okinawa PraisePro further features a find-my-scooter function as well as an alarm. The walk-assist feature allows the rider to get their scooter out of an uneven road as the motor automatically operates at 5kmph. The customers can avail the e-scooter in two colour variants: Glossy Red Black and Glossy Sparkle Black.
