Skoda Kushaq Monte Carlo Edition Spotted; Hints Imminent Launch

The Czech automaker, Skoda Auto, launched its Kushaq SUV last year, and now it is gearing up to introduce the Monte Carlo edition of the car. Recently, we have got some spy shots of the upcoming special edition SUV, and according to the sources, it is most likely to make its official debut in the second half of April 2022. As the spotted model was in production form, we got some design indications of the exterior and interior of the car.

Speaking of the design and styling, the Kushaq Monte Carlo boasts unique elements just like the Rapid Monte Carlo. The gloss black parts, such as the front grille, ORVMs, roof rails, and window frame, as well as the new 17-inch dual-tone alloy wheel with a swirl-type design, are highlights of this special edition. The ‘Monte Carlo’ wording is also seen on the front fender emblems, which are combined with the existing ‘Skoda’ marking.

Moreover, this new Kushaq Monte Carlo is anticipated to be offered in two attractive colour options, Candy White and Tornado Red. Turning to the interior design, red inserts have been used to accentuate the dashboard and seat upholstery. The gleaming red on the dashboard, door handles, and the centre console gives the SUV a sporty appeal. While Monte Carlo’s exact feature set is unknown, we anticipate it to benefit from the digital instrument cluster found in the recently launched Skoda Slavia.

Besides, the forthcoming Kushaq Monte Carlo, which will be based on the top-end Style variant, is expected to sport sophisticated features like front ventilated seats, ambient lighting, an electric sunroof, a 10-inch infotainment touchscreen system, a reverse parking camera and more. The Kushaq Monte Carlo will be available with either a 115hp, 1.0-litre or a 150hp, 1.5-litre engine with a 6-speed manual transmission as standard. They also have the option of AT: a 6-speed torque converter for the 1.0 TSI and a 7-speed DSG for the 1.5 TSI.
