2023 Tata Harrier Spotted; India Launch Around Diwali This Year

Someone recently spotted a Tata Harrier facelift testing in camouflage. It appears that the SUV will be redesigned getting major exterior and interior updates. The Indian automaker will give it a similar appearance to the Tata Harrier EV at the 2023 Auto Expo. Its exterior will be restyled to look more modern and fresh.

With a new headlight and DRL setup, the front fascia is expected to become more angular. The front grille and bumper will also be updated. The side profile will be like the current model, but there will be a new set of alloy wheels. The SUV’s rear profile is expected to include new taillights and a bumper. The majority of the styling cues are expected to be lifted from the Harrier EV concept.

Tata Motors will also update the interior with new colour tones and textures. We saw the updated all-digital instrument cluster and the larger touchscreen infotainment system in the Harrier Dark Red Edition. It will also get a new user interface and more features. The Harrier will be updated with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay and connected-car technology, along with a 360-degree parking camera, ventilated seats, and ADAS technology.

The engine option might remain unchanged. The 2.0-litre Kryotec diesel engine produces a max power of 170 HP and 350 Nm of peak torque. It is unknown whether the carmaker will offer a petrol engine option for the Harrier. Along with this, Tata Motors will also update the Safari with cosmetic changes to the exterior and interior, and new features.
