Tata Safari DiCOR Discontinued in India

Tata Safari DiCOR Discontinued in India

After the GST impact many companies seem to have been updating their price range and making changes to the current line-up. Meanwhile Tata Motors also is trying to revamp their range of models with Safari Storme still on sale and Tata Safari DiCOR discontinued.

Under these changes even the Tata Indigo and Indica eCS websites have been under maintenance. While the Safari DiCOR is a good performing SUV, The Tata Indica eCS and Indigo have been a low performing in the Indian market. The price list of both the hatchback and the sedan have been ceased and their pages seem to be under maintenance on their official website.

This is not surprising given the fact that Tata has already found two worthy offerings in Tata Tiago and Tigor range of hatchback and compact sedan. They offer both updated latest generation design and good technology to ensure fuel efficiency.

Some news also had broken than Tata Indica and Indigo are planned to be discontinued. Also with the introduction of Bolt and Zest sedans, Tata has shifted their marketing efforts on the other side of the equation. The company seems to be following the most logical order of economies of scale.

Tata has updated their product range by a big margin and seems to be concentrating on their better performing efficient product ranges. The decision to discontinue Tata Safari DiCOR is also one such step. By focusing on their newer more successful models, Tata is going to target the market with richer, better perceived products.

Not only will this uplift their brand image, it will also yield higher returns on their products. All this seems as a sound movie as the Tata range of cars also needed a lot of updates in the recent past. And the company seems to be making no mistakes about it.
