2023 Yamaha XSR155 Makes Official Debut – Gets New Colours

2023 Yamaha XSR155 Makes Official Debut – Gets New Colours

In Indonesia, Yamaha has released the 2023 edition of its popular neo-retro offering, the XSR 155. The most of mechanical setup and components of the motorcycle remain unchanged. But Yamaha does offer new colours adding a splash of visual interest to the machine.

Light Blue Wanderlust, Metallic Red Authentic, Matte Silver Premium, and Metallic Black Elegance, are the four new colours for the 2023 XSR155. While the blue and red colour schemes have new decals. The silver and black colour schemes only have a ‘Yamaha’ badge on the fuel tank. The black version stands out with golden upside-down forks in the front. While the other colour iterations feature black upside-down forks.

Yamaha has not changed the bodywork of the XSR155. It comes with a round headlamp and an offset console. Along with a teardrop-shaped fuel tank, a single-piece seat with a ribbed pattern, and a minimalistic floating-style tail.

An R15-derived 155cc liquid-cooled, VVA-equipped engine powers the Yamaha XSR155. It produces a max power of 19 bhp and a peak torque of 14.7 Nm with a six-speed gearbox. There is also an assist and slipper clutch, LED headlamp and tail lamp, and a blue backlit LCD console.

Despite its enormous popularity on our shores, the Yamaha XSR155 is unlikely to make its way to India anytime soon. Yamaha sells the R15 V4 and the MT 15 V2 in India for those looking for a modern-looking bike based on the same platform as the XSR.
