Yamaha RX 135 FAITH Cafe Racer: Uniquely Perfect! These two words are practically enough to describe this custom Yamaha RX 135 by Srikanth Naidu. It took him 3 months to complete this beautiful cafe racer, fabricating every single part in order to achieve a flawless surface. 19 year old Srikanth is moving on the right track to achieve his dream of being a custom motorcycle builder.
Named as ‘Faith’, this typical Yamaha RX 135 is lot more than one could imagine. The old parts were killing the charm of such an exclusive motorcycle and thus, he planned to rebuild the entire RX 135 on his own. The results are fascinating for sure!
The selection of Matt Grey was the best thing that could happen to RX 135. The old tyres made way to these new directional tyres that look perfect with the cafe racer appeal. Spoke rims, Black finished frame and thoroughly cleaned engine further made this built look awesome from all angles.
Weight loss is pretty clear with no extra part than the working components of Yamaha RX 135. The frame was altered from the rear end as a single seat was used to go with Cafe Racer tradition. The rear smartly ends with a cowl while brake light moves safely to the ride side, mounted on the right suspension. The fuel tank cap is even custom built.
The front of the motorcycle carries an aftermarket disc brake, clip-on handlebar from the Royal Enfield Continental GT and thicker front forks than those that are offered as standard on Yamaha RX 135. A fully custom built exhaust system is used in place of the stock unit. For the headlight, small aftermarket LED unit seems placed inside a square hub.
Fenders have been removed for further weight loss. The provision of bar type handlebar mount can help ‘Faith’ evolve into a twin seat Bobber with relaxed sitting position and added pillion seat. Congratulation to Srikanth Naidu for such a beautiful motorcycle.
