Bajaj Auto has officially unveiled the Pulsar NS160 special edition in Colombia. The motorcycle features striking new colour combinations and body graphics to set it apart from the standard variant. The brand has opted for a black and silver paint scheme for the NS160 special edition in addition to the sporty neon green decals on the body panels.
The motorcycle gets the same design language as that of its standard variant while the only visual differentiation has been offered by the striking “160” decal on the fuel tank. The neon green highlights start from the headlights, covering the fuel tank, tank shrouds, and goes all the way up to rear and side panels. The under-seat panel at the rear of the motorcycle features a “Pulsarmania” sticker.
In addition to the cosmetic changes, the Bajaj Pulsar NS160 special edition has been offered several additional accessories such as rubber pads on the fuel tank, knuckle guards as well as a crash guard. The changes made to the motorcycle are limited to the addition of accessories and new body graphics, as the bike remains unaltered in terms of the technical specifications.
It continues to be powered by a 160.3cc SOHC, 4-valve, oil-cooled, twin spark DTS-i engine capable of generating maximum power of 15.5 HP at 8,500 rpm and an utmost torque of 14.6 Nm at 6,500 rpm. The engine is mated to a 5-speed transmission.
The suspension duties are handled by telescopic forks with anti-friction bush at the front and a nitrox monoshock absorber at the rear. The motorcycle gets a 240mm disc brake at the front and a 230mm disc brake at the rear. It has been equipped with single-channel ABS as standard.
The brand has also introduced the Pulsar NS200 Fi Special Edition in addition to the NS160 special edition in the Colombian market. Both the motorcycles get a distinguished body detailing with neon green highlights and are packed with additional accessories though remain mechanically unchanged. As of now, it is not clear whether Bajaj Auto will launch the special edition models in India or not.
