Yamaha XSR155 was launched in Thailand back in August 2019 at a price tag of 91,500 Thai Baht (INR 2.23 lakh, approximate). The motorcycle is based on the ‘Sports Heritage’ lineup of the brand that currently features the XSR700 and the XSR900. According to the latest buzz, the brand will be launching the XSR155 in the Indian market by the mid of this year while one can expect Yamaha to price the motorcycle at around INR 1.50 lakhs (ex-showroom).

Powering the XSR155 is a 155.1cc, liquid-cooled, fuel-injected engine inspired from the R15 V3. The brand has not yet disclosed the power and torque figures of the motorcycle though one can expect it to churn out 18.6HP of maximum power at 10,000 rpm along with 14.1Nm of peak torque at 8,500 rpm, similar to the output figures generated by the BS6 R15 V3. The engine is mated to a 6-speed gearbox.

Taking inspiration from the styling bits of XSR700 and XSR900, the Yamaha XSR 155 features the same round headlight and taillight. The round LCD instrument console further adds to its retro styling. The motorcycle measures 2000mm in length, 805mm in width, and 1080mm in height.

The kerb weight of the motorcycle is 134kgs while the fuel tank capacity and ground clearance stand at 10-litres and 170mm respectively. Here is the vast photo gallery of the much-awaited Yamaha XSR155.
