Powering the XSR155 is a 155.1cc, liquid-cooled, fuel-injected engine inspired by the R15 V3. In terms of the technical specifications, one can expect it to churn out 18.6HP of maximum power at 10,000 rpm along with 14.1Nm of peak torque at 8,500 rpm, similar to the output figures generated by the BS6 R15 V3. The engine is mated to a 6-speed gearbox.

Taking inspiration from the styling bits of XSR700 and XSR900, the Yamaha XSR 155 features the same round headlight and taillight. The round LCD instrument console further adds to its retro styling. The motorcycle measures 2000mm in length, 805mm in width, and 1080mm in height.

The kerb weight of the motorcycle is 134kgs while the fuel tank capacity and ground clearance stand at 10.4-litres and 170mm respectively. Here is the official photo gallery of the Yamaha XSR155.
