Bajaj Auto Limited has some exciting launch plans for the Indian two-wheeler market in the coming months. The brand also intends to extend its Pulsar lineup with new 250cc motorcycles. In accordance with that, they have already started testing multiple versions of the upcoming bike. A bunch of pre-production models has recently been caught on camera in Raigad, Maharashtra. However, the test mules shown in the spy images are completely camouflaged still we can get some idea about the bodywork of the upcoming bike.
As per the spy shots, the new bike looks similar to the Pulsar 250F and gets a new design and increased dimensions. Looking at the front side, the motorbike sports a projector headlight and dual DRLs, as well as a suitable mudguard underneath. While coming forward to the side of the bike, we can see the muscular fuel tank with extensions just as we see in the present NS series bikes that are Pulsar NS200 and NS160.
Scrutinising the images properly, some more things are visible such as split grab rails and sleek LED turn indicators. Moreover, the bike has split seats, a sharp tail section and a side-mounted exhaust. There is also the possibility of a digital instrument console with a colour display and Bluetooth connectivity. Also, according to the sources, the company is actively working on smartphone connectivity technology for its new bikes.
Furthermore, when it comes to the braking duties, the upcoming model gets disc brakes on both front and rear wheels however, it’s not confirmed whether it is going to be single or dual-channel ABS. Some other features of the rumoured NS250 are the telescopic front forks and rear mono-shock suspension. In order to reduce the costs, Bajaj Auto may opt for a new air/oil-cooled engine instead of a liquid-cooled engine. However, we can only assume such features at this moment.
