Yamaha MT-15 Ice Fluo Vermillion Price Increased: In addition to increasing the prices of the R15 V3 and the FZ V3 series, Yamaha has also hiked the price of the MT-15 Ice Fluo Vermillion edition by INR 500. The updated BS6-compliant model of the MT-15 was launched in India back in February this year. After the recent price hike, the Yamaha MT-15 Ice Fluo is now available with an ex-showroom price tag of INR 1.40 lakh.
The BS6-compliant variant of the Yamaha MT-15 has been further equipped with a side-stand engine cut-off switch which prevents the motorcycle to start whenever the side stand is down. In addition to this, the tail light position has also been revised and has been raised a little bit when compared to the last-gen model. The brand has also equipped the 2020 BS6 Yamaha MT-15 with a wide radial tyre at the rear. Apart from these changes, the motorcycle remains cosmetically unaltered.
The 2020 MT-15 is powered by a BS6-compliant 155cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled, fuel-injected engine that is capable to generate a maximum power of 18.5HP @ 10,000 rpm and a peak torque of 13.9Nm @ 8,500 rpm. In comparison, the BS4 variant of the MT-15 is good for 19.3HP of maximum power along with an utmost torque of 14.7Nm. The engine remains mated to a 6-speed gearbox.
