Yamaha’s heavily styled showstopper at the Auto Expo 2016, Cygnus Ray-ZR has been launched in the country for a price of INR 52,000 for the drum variant and INR 54,500 for the disc variant. The scooter is an evolved version for the ongoing Ray Z scooter in the Yamaha lineup. The scooter looks quite sporty and focuses directly to the youngsters need of an eye catchy design.

Yamaha was expected to launch a bigger engine with this new machine but they carried over the same 113 cc, single cylinder engine with Blue Core technology. The tag-line describes it as an urban scooter with focus on male riders with it’s heavily sticker-fed body. The scooter claims a mileage of 66 kmpl while it is being offered in 4 mouth watering shades. The instrument console is fantastic and the scooter can definitely raise the Yamaha bars in the scooter loving Indian community.
