Yamaha Motor India Achieves 10 Million Production Milestone

Yamaha FZS V3 is the 10 millionth two-wheeler that rolled out from the production line of the Japanese brand, creating another milestone on the name of Yamaha Motor India. The special motorcycle is an FZS V3 painted in the Blue shade and this new design definitely looks similar to the bigger MT-series motorcycles.

The establishment of Yamaha in 1985 given them a good 34-year span to achieve this feat, with early years contributing a very small amount into the number. The 4-stroke era brought big numbers to the major brands of India and Yamaha is definitely one of them.

At the present speed of production, Yamaha will need just 6-8 years to double this number to 2 Crore for sure. The last seven years saw Yamaha producing 5 million units, out of which scooters played an important role with 44% of the volume.

Fascino was the highest produced gearless product while FZ is the highest produced motorcycle from Yamaha. The brand also cleared that they have got 80% of the production completed from their north Indian facilities. Yamaha Motor India invited senior Yamaha officials from Japan to celebrate their important moment in the company timeline.
