Yamaha XSR 155 Trail Breaker Model Live Photos and Details

The modification experts at K-Speed, Thailand have mesmerised the audience with their yet again superb customization of the Yamaha XSR155. The retro-inspired motorcycle has been offered an off-road beast look which is bound to grab attention on the road.

Known as the Yamaha XSR155 Trail Breaker, the modifiers have further accentuated the rugged appeal of the motorcycle by replacing major stock panels on the motorcycle with aftermarket units.

The crash guard at the front features the twin-pod headlight unit mounted on it while the illumination has been further enhanced by auxiliary lights on either end of the crash guard.

The modifiers have retained the same instrument cluster as well as the flat handlebar unit as seen on the stock model though the switchgear has been replaced with an aftermarket unit.

The subframe of the motorcycle has been tweaked a bit while the rider-only saddle sits on top. The fuel tank of the Yamaha XSR155 Trail Breaker has been kept in stock condition though the modifiers have opted for a unique garnish on top.

The ground clearance and the rear suspension travel of the motorcycle have been further increased via the repositioned twin-pod exhaust outlets in addition to redesigned tail light under the single-piece saddle.

Coming to the mechanical changes, the suspension duties are handled by the same USD forks at the front while the rear shock absorber has been replaced with an aftermarket one. In addition to this, the brakes setup now features callipers sourced from Brembo. The rugged look of the motorcycle has been enhanced by the use of spoke wheels in place of the standard alloy units seen on the Yamaha XSR155.

Apart from this, the other mechanical bits of the motorcycle remains the same. Powering the modified motorcycle is the same 155cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder, 4-valve engine that is good for 18.6 HP of maximum power at 10,000 rpm and 14.1 Nm of peak torque at 8,500 rpm. The engine is mated to a 6-speed transmission. The stock model of Yamaha XSR155 is expected to launch in India in 2023 with an ex-showroom price tag of around INR 1.75 lakhs.
