Huawei Nova 5 Series Unveiled Starting @ 1999 Yuan (INR 20,300)

Huawei Nova 5 Series Officially Announced: As expected, Huawei has launched three new smartphones in China under the Nova 5 series namely Nova 5i, Nova 5, and the Nova 5 Pro. The Nova 5i is the most affordable in terms of pricing among the three smartphones. It is priced at 1999 yuan which is INR 20,300 approximately for the base variant with 6GB RAM and 128GB of internal storage. It will be available for pre-orders from the 21st of June and will go on sale on the 28th of June in China. The smartphone is available in three shades: Black, Blue, and Red. The 8GB+256GB version of the Nova 5i is priced at 2199 yuan (INR 22,300 approx)

Coming to the Nova 5 and the Nova 5 Pro, the two smartphones share almost the same features except a few. The Nova 5 comes with Huawei’s latest Kirin 810 processor while the 5 Pro comes with Huawei’s flagship processor, the Kirin 980. There is also a difference in the RAM and internal storage options that these two phones offer. Unlike the 5 Pro, the Huawei Nova 5 is not available with 8GB RAM and 256GB internal storage option. The Nova 5 smartphone comes in three shades – Black, Purple, and Green. It is priced at 2799 yuan (INR 28,400 approximately) for 8GB RAM and 128GB internal storage.

The Nova 5 Pro, on the other hand, comes in four shades – Black, Purple, Green, and Orange. Its top variant with 8GB RAM and 256GB internal storage is available for 3399 yuan (INR 34,400 approx), while the base model of Nova 5 Pro (8GB+128GB) is available for 2999 yuan (INR 30,400). Both the smartphones will be open for pre-orders on 21st June and will go on sale in China on the 28th of June. It is expected that Huawei will launch the Nova 5 series in India in the coming weeks.
