Mahindra TUV300 is well known for its tough guy looks and recently became the host for Jeep inspired modification all over its body. The Jeep brand was highly awaited among Indian fans but its high pricing disappointed everyone around the country. Prasad Chowdary, a Kerela based modifier took the TUV300 under his scissors and made it more like the mighty Jeep Cherokee that costs upward of INR 1 Crore.
Custom Mahindra TUV300 modified to look like a Jeep Cherokee
The car here gets a Jeep front fascia with a custom grill, projector headlights, LED DRLs, new bumper, redesigned bonnet and a flat back space. The spare wheel from the rear has been chopped and the finishing doesn’t even hint about its existence from any angle. The cost for its overall makeover is just around INR 1.5 lakh, making the car feel more like something that is 10 times more costlier than its original price.
The engine under the hood remains the same 1.5 liter, turbo diesel engine producing 84 BHP and 230 Nm of torque. It comes with an option between 5-speed manual as well as AMT gearbox in India. The car is built on a rear wheel drive platform, helping it perform more like an SUV than an urban crossover. The car comes with a starting price tag of INR 7,45,084 for the base variant while tops spec costs INR 9,80,484.
