According to the recently revealed model-wise sales report, the fan-favourite Kawasaki Ninja 300 has been able to beat the Yamaha YZF-R3 in November 2019. Both the sports bikes belong to the twin-cylinder 300cc motorcycle segment while competes in the market with the likes of one another.
The Kawasaki Ninja 300 has been able to post a sales figure of 77 units in November 2019 while the sales figure for the Yamaha YZF-R3 stands at only 52 units. Despite offering a more powerful 321cc engine and better refinement levels, the current-gen model of the Yamaha R3 has lost to the lower displacement Ninja 300 which further features a lower price tag as well.
Powering the Kawasaki Ninja 300 is a 296cc, twin-cylinder engine that is good for a maximum power of 39HP @ 11,000 rpm and a peak torque of 27Nm @ 10,000 rpm while the 321cc engine on the Yamaha YZF-R3 is capable of offering 42HP @ 10,750 rpm and 29.6Nm @ 9000 rpm.
Both the motorcycles are equipped with a 6-speed gearbox. The top speed of the Ninja 300 stands at 182 kmph while the top speed of the Yamaha YZF-R3 limits at 188kmph. The top speed figures mentioned here are approximate and may vary.
