Yamaha’s small yet supercute Vino 50cc is a popular scooter in the market since its arrival and as a part of the yearly update, the brand recently introduced the scooter in two lively colours for the Japanese market. At present, the scooter is available at a price of JPY 2,03,500, which is equivalent to 1.36 lakh Indian Rupees. Powered by a 49cc engine producing 4.5 ps of maximum power and 4.1 Nm of peak torque, the scooter incorporates an idle-stop technology that saves fuel by halting the motor at shortstops such as traffic lights.
Speaking of the new colour scheme, the first one is the Bonnie Blue, which is a combination of light blue and ivory white in a glossy finish. The manufacturer has finished the headlamp cowl, instrumental console, front fender and side panels in the blue shade while the major part of the body is painted in ivory white. However, there is the presence of a third shade as well, which can be seen on the floorboard, handle grips and seat cover.
Besides, the second one is also a perfect blend of green and black with white highlights. The majority of the body panels are dark green, with the exception of the headlight cowl and front fender, which are glossy black. The front fascia and side panels have twin white stripes. The seat and handle grips are conventional black, whereas the floorboard area is light grey. With the introduction of two new colours, the overall colour scheme of the Yamaha Vino scooter comprises six colours, and no mechanical update has been noted.
