German auto giant Mercedes has recently introduced its concept electric car, the Vision EQXX, to the public and as per the details available, its production is also going to start soon and will go on sale in the market in the coming years. Mercedes-Benz claims that the Vision EQXX, an electric car coming onto the market, will offer a driving range of up to 1000 km on a single charge. The company stated that 95 per cent of the car’s battery energy will be used for this purpose. The car has a huge 100 kWh battery pack, and it is said to use less than 10 kWh of power per 100 kilometres.
According to Mercedes-Benz, its vision is to be at the forefront of the EQXX electric vehicle segment, and the Mercedes-AMG Division has also been included in this project. The Vision EQXX electric car will come with an aerodynamic design. Currently, the most popular all-electric Mercedes-Benz is the EQS, which has a range of 770 km on a single charge, but the EQXX has surpassed it. The car will cover a distance of more than 1000 km on a single charge.
The Mercedes EQXX is a gorgeous four-door coupe that looks more like a spaceship than a normal EV. At the front, there’s a wide light bar, and the EQXX’s headlights are made to look like three-pointed stars. Other features include flush door handles and 20-inch magnesium alloy wheels with aluminium alloy brake discs, a lightweight subframe, real-time 3D navigation, a voice assistant, a 4D sound system, and 117 roof-mounted solar cells.
The seats are trimmed with fake leather made from polyurethane and crushed cactus fibres. The door paws are made out of synthetic silk, so they should feel lovely and be really strong. All the carpets are made out of 100 per cent bamboo fibre, and to save on unnecessary material, even the door and floor panels are made from recycled plastic bottles.
